senoir project 8/23/08

Was not able to see my mentor but I did go to karte class and I also got my uniform (gi). I also got to see how you graple I didn't get to join in cause I have never done it before and I didn't have a month gard.

senoir project

Yesterday I met with my mentor and started my karate lessons. I had good time and I see that I'm going to be sore for a few days while I get use to it. I also see that it is going to be a lot of had work because I have to build up strength in my legs and stomach muscles and I have to become a lot more flexible in lower body.

Senoir Project 8/19/08

For my senoir project I'll be learning martial arts. i have meet with one teacher and today I'll be meetin with another. Yesterday I started on one of my letters in class and wasgoing to finish it but i fell asleep when i got home. So far school has been nice and i found out yesterday that my ex-boy friend tim is in one of my collage classes. well thats all for now. bye

A Rose for Emily

A Rose for Emily is a short story about a high class lady raised in the Southern Culture. The story is told from the view of the towns people and what they have seen happen to Emily over the years. Emily broke the rules of socity so that she could keep her life the way she wanted it. Emily fell in love with a northern work man and so that she would not lose him she poisen with arsenic so that he would never leave her.

In my group Josh played the obediant servent Tobe, George play the unsuspecting yankee boyfriend Homer, I played emily who was afried of losing her love so put arsenic in his wined so that he could never leave her.
Acording to my group I played Emily rather well because I'm a bit like her.

There have have been two snow days and a two hour delay since we got back from chirstmas break. In English we are starting to read the Wizard of OZ and in history we are starting on World War One. My collage class doesn't start till the 28th but I'm going to be taking Socioligy of the Family.
